Water pump timing belt service

Hey guys

Im due to change my water pump and timing belt, i found a kit on ebay? it
looks reasonable, would it be safe to get or should there be a particular brand i should look for. What do you guys think?

Well it's up to you, but I will say this if the timing belt breaks or stretches and slips it will destroy the head.
I have never heard of optibelt and usually only use genuine or Bosch timing belts.
This may be a good kit, but how much is your engine worth vs risk vs how much it would save you?

Whatever you buy can I suggest buying the actual tensioner too. Like a little hydraulic ram that often seep.

Is the hydraulic ram aftermarket aswell,

They are available aftermarket. I didn't chime in earlier because its up to you, but you asked so ill reply.
I'd fit genuine and genuine only. Do the tensioner, belt, pulley, pivot bolt and pump.

sounds good, i can understand how important it is. il head to toyota and get some prices.for what iv read from a few members here il have to shop around too?
