Lift Kits Problem

Postby SR5DAZ on Fri, 25 Jan 2013 7:10 +0000

I have a 2012 sr5 hilux and have just put a 2 inch bilstein kit it on and am now experiencing vibrations changing down into 3rd and 2nd gear. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and if so any ideas as to how to fix the problem

Mine does it as well.

It did it before the lift from new.

It's a shit clutch that does it IMHO

The center bearing on the tailshaft needs to be spaced down about 12mm to correct the angles on the joints. This is a common problem with lifts. Some people use wedges to re-align the rear diff housing but in most cases the spacers at the center bearing is enough.
