Hilux Bull Bar Mounts Recalls

Was told today about the above at Toyota today, they said they will put on new bull bar mounts when they do the tail shaft mount, did not even know about this. Any one else heard about it, or is it just for the hilux bull bar?

well i got a letter from Toyota and it was only for the toyota bullbars

new parts put on for the hilux bullbar recall, man what a big bit off kit they are useing, looks way stronger than the stock version.

Had my Bull Bar fix in January 2011 before leaving for a big trip. Noticed a bit of creaking when the front end bounced a bit but otherwise only noticeable difference was the array of shiny new bolts and black brackets. But 10,000k's later noticed that plastic moulding between Bull Bar and body/light fitting had popped out on one side. Tried to put back but would not fit. Went to a dealer - not one that did job - to check out for loose components. They told me all tight and had I had some damage. I have not. So they said that to re-align Bull Bar and other components they would have to undo all Bull Bar work and re-do for which I would have to pay. Has anyone else heard of this issue? Before I had recall mod done all was sweet.
