Stock Suspension

What were your warranty claims and recall information

Stock Suspension

Hi All,
I've had a good search on here, and the rest of the net, and haven't been able to find any info on the warranty details on stock suspension. I've got a 2012 SR5 (dual cab) that has dropped about 40-50mm in the front from when I got it new. I'm aware pretty much everyone has the same problems with stock suspension, but wondering if anyone has ever made a successful warranty claim on the stock suspension?

I rang my dealership who said to bring it in and they will measure it as apparently if it has dropped a certain amount they will replace it, but I was wondering if anyone has done the same before and had any luck. I'd rather find out here first as I'm sure the dealer will say whatever they need to, and see if anyone knows the measurement that it needs to drop before being replaced.

I've been thinking about going with an aftermarket setup, but as I do a lot of highway KM's and cash is tight I'd rather see if I can go down this ave first.

Cheers

i know they will replace the shocks if they leak but they have to be leaking a fairbit for them to let you claim warrenty, a simple seap wont cut it

Do you have a bull bar or second battery etc cause that will be there excuse if you do.

Hey Fellas,
Yeah no leaking going on, and there is no 2nd battery or anything on the front. I think the problem is just saggy coils.

I had the issue with a 2007 Hilux, I replaced them with bilstein 2 inch lift with heavy duty king springs, no more sagging. :D
