Who said they are the originals, they could've been replaced during its life...

I knew there was a history of problems with the injectors in the Hilux model, that's why I tried to protect myself by drilling them on the injector specs...

I suppose purchasing a vehicle with a 194k k's is no doubt going to inherent problems. Are you looking at fighting it or looking at the cost of injectors?
On the plus side you would know they have been done and shouldn't have a problem again with them :?
Let us know how you go

Even the Stealership said that if were they to replace the injectors they would be Denso ones, i said about the DLC injectors and he had no idea what i was going on about...

I've rang Maitland Toyota (and realised i should've gone with them in the first place while doing so) and talked to the head of their service department, he knew exactly what the problem was (parking downhill) without me even having to explain it fully... Worn injector seals...

Yes i am looking at cost, i payed 12k changeover on my VZ Thunder SS, and am looking to spend another $4000 to fix the injectors, clean the EGR and drop the tank to clean, less the cost of injectors were i to just get the seals done. (which would be done at Maitland)

I'm looking to fight it because i was sold the car under false pretenses, if i had got the injector specs the following day (like i asked), i still would've been in my rights to exercise my cooling off period and refuse to buy the car!

Have you checked with Fair Trading?

Not yet...

Update: They are saying that 3.5 is right on the bored at ambient temp... Have gave me a bottle of Toyota injector cleaner, and told me to come back in 1000km's and they'll run it on the machine again to check to see if they are in spec...

After 1000km's I'll be testing to see if it still blows smoke and rattles on startup also.
