96 Landrover Defender TDI300.

Over 65 claims in 85,000 K's.

Towed 5 times DOA - everything replaced from all 3 diffs to gearboxes.
Roof was coming off, everything leaked ect ect ect .:x

2002 Patrol 3.0 ST.

1 interior light globe - 125,000 K's.

this is not very good reading as i am considering buying a second hand new shape luxy

currently have a 1998 100 series petrol with 200 thousand kms on it and have had nothing fixed, makes me wonder if i should be buying a new lux !!!

Yeah you should... just remember how many members are on this site and the issues are minor as a percentage...

1 complete fuel system(everthing changed)

and the standard recalls

2007 dual cab

-new gearbox at 65K due to worn case hardening on teeth. Went in for a 1st gear syncro and I came out with a new box. Search this forum for posts by me if you are interested in the full story as it wasn't pretty. Claimed under Toyota Extra Care.
