Squeeking all over the place. I told them, they replaced it. Must have been easier than working out the problem.

Your kidding arent you ?
Toyota really replaced the intercooler cover because it had rub marks on it ?
Mine is just as bad, all the silver is gone from the D, and Ive only done 6000Km's. Isnt that wear N tear from use ?

i said because the rubber is deformed it caused the plastic to get damaged. and that is should be able to withstand the abuse being part of the engine bay.

so far... 06 SR5

- inserts for hard lid replaced (cracked and leaking)
- both leaf springs on left hand side (sagged)
- injector pump and all hoses
- modifications to tub liner (incorrectly installed)
- normal recalls (then back to remove swarf floating in bonnet)

thats it so far..

man... its a bit of a story..

http://www.newhilux.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=1281

at the moment Im driving a 'mighty Yaris' as a loan car for 3 days while they've got it again..

I reckon its a conspiracy giving me a Yaris.. i mean the Hilux is one of the biggest vehicles and the Yaris is the smallest.. i cant even put the seat back far enough.. and getting in and out of it, cause its so low to the ground.. what a PITA!!!!
