Same here gammo. I called them and they said it's not necessary. Funny thing is when I installed a Steinbauer in my other Hilux back in 2011 I had to tap into the throttle position sensor wire! Can anyone shed any light on this?

A mate and I had a slight issue with how tight that hose was between the intercooler and turbo even after we loosened those clips. Took a fare amount of wiggling and tugging but got there in the end.
I wasnt sure where to really mount it and as i want a 2nd battery we opted to drill 2x 5mm holes for rivet bracket and ziptied it on to these brackets and looks secure so far.
We also didn't bother with the other wires. Just hooked the connectors to injectors and the positive and negative and worked flawlessly. We also fitted the Steinbauer power pedal and works a treat.
