Non return valve on fuel system

Can anyone tell me if there is a non return valve located on the fuel line or housing? if so where is it located? 2013 D4D

There is a return line which sends excess fuel back to the tank but as far as I know no non-return valve. The common rail and ECU directs measured amount to the injectors and the excess is returned to the tank via a separate fuel line.

Thanks for the reply. I am having trouble with the fuel system loosing prime, Curious to see if a non return valve may had failed. Ive got 2 more things to eliminate which i have read on this forum then ill be back if they don't work haha

Hi it sounds like you're sucking air somewhere check all your connections and your oring on your filter

Sucking air or more likely supply pump failure, check the simple first... O ring on the filter... They are critical if not properly sealed.
