Electronic fuel dump valve 2kd

Servus und hi!

a few months back i was forced to buy a mk7 hilux single cab with the 2kd-ftv engine. its stock to the bone and had then a not so pulling 102hp. i installed a monster max kd and now i got lots of power until 2000 rpm. i suspect the dump valve opens at that point but im not sure as i is electronicaly activated. could someone confirm that it opens at a certain pressure, even when the ecu is not sendig the signal to do so? Thank you in advance. and feel free to redirect me to a topic if this has been discussed before (i could'nt find any info)
