Filter housing won't seal

Postby millsi on Sat, 10 Dec 2016 12:37 +0000

Just installed a new genuine filter and oring. Pumped up fine and idles fine but has a slow leak from the housing.
Took housing apart and the oring were in the correct place.
Any tips?

Did ya lube the oring when fitting? If not ya may have pinched it.

Cheers Gipsy :D although I'm sure somebody will challenge that  even Einstein wasn't certain of his theories.
