Draining fuel tank

Did the unthinkable and put 55L of unleaded into the tank.....didn't start the engine and pushed it away from the bowser

I see its fitted with an anti-siphon device and there doesn't appear to be a drain plug??

Or did I need to look harder.??

If memory serves me well, I think this is a tank out job. I seem to recall this from some past posts on here with the same issue.
No drain plugs installed.

There may be a time when I'll need to siphon or drain a few gallons of diesel for a generator.

I would be removing the hose from the fuel pick up at the tank and pushing a hose onto that to syphon the fuel out before attempting to remove a full tank. Might take a long time but make the tank a lot more manageable to remove and empty properly.

Looking at the Service Manual for removing the fuel tank, it seems there's a No. 1 Fuel Tank protector that comes off first. Next you remove the Fuel Tank Filler Pipe and Fuel Tank Breather Hose. I'm guessing at that point you can shove a siphon into the tank.

It's sitting at Toyota now......as I'm I Rockhampton.

It's a fleet car, just thought I could quickly drain the fuel, I'm shitty about the bill we will get.

If i ever need to do so my pkan is.....Disconnect,supply line from tank,
Bridge the tank pump at relay to empty the tank into a container... remove tank and clean..

Bugger, simple mistake......... and costly if you went back to Toyo.
I would have ditched the plastic tank and put in a Long Ranger.
