Fuel warning buzzer

Postby GeeBung on Fri, 19 Dec 2014 10:48 +0000

I vaguely recall reading that Toyota have fitted later model hilux's with a warning buzzer as well as the dash light for contaminated fuel.
I have a 2013 SR MY14 (the current upgrades) can anyone confirm if they have a buzzer as standard now?

apparently they do.. check it though.. unplug the wire from the bottom of your fuel filter and link the two wires together.. that simulates the water 'short' and if you have a buzzer in the cab.. it'll go off..
