a knock that isnt injectors?

Howd y all so I no the injector problem has been covered quite abit but ive recently had mine replaced and ive now got a similar sounding noise on acceleration pretty much all the time continues evan when its hot not sure if im just being paranoid or if theres another fault out there
Or if someone has something similar

tappets, wrong oil viscosity, older engines normally require a thicker oil, i use 15w-40, valvoline super diesel... runs nicely on it.

Even though the injectors were replaced recently, it's worth getting them re-checked. When I replaced mine one died again within 3 months. Replaced again under warranty and still going strong after 12 months.

i usually put injector cleaner through every 5000km, also run only premium diesel..

Thanks for the replys Im running 15w40 gulf western doesnt sound like tappet noise from what I can tell ive done the quantity check with the scanner at work and they seem to be in range from what ive been told but wether the noise still could be coming from them, might be worth a go taking it back to get them to the blokes that did it and getting them to have a listen and see what they think

what sort of injectors were they that went in - BDG or 2006 type denso injectors or the updated ones post 2008?

Injectors can be noisy, it does not mean you can see it in diagnostics.

Any luck finding out or rectifying what the noise was?
I get that a tappet noise at 2400-2600rpm under low throttle position. Goes away when you either back right off or give it the herbs it goes away. Dont get it at any other rev range either.

got the same issue all specs come within range, pilot quanty test and high pressure test conducted and noticed a massive difference in the engine noise. still have a cold knock on start up and the injector rattle around the 2100-2500 rpm range . only got 41000kms on the clock
