JASO FB, FC and FD will be fine. I run JASO FD classified 2T oil and have no problems.[/quote]

This might be a stupid question... But why? What problems do you have when you don't use it...

Been using the jaso fd classified oil for 25,000km with no issues, does that answer your question?

I did this for the first time today and my filler is in a mongrel position with the tray. I have a 140 lt tank.

Anyway i ended up accidentally putting 810ml in instead of 700ml.

Am I in trouble here?
Is this gonna hurt the fuel system driving for a few hundred kms until i can put more fuel in and dilute it?

We're currently working on some changes that will make this a thing of the past (and hopefully mean that the injectors will be essentially BOMB proof (*not Nuke proof but  ). R+D = basically Done! Kinda exciting. Man, Metallurgy is a complicated beast

Who is 'we're'? Toyota, injector manufacturer, oil additive company or you in your backyard?

BDG are Baileys Diesel Group, they are a very well respected diesel injector manufacturer, so if they say they are making a set that are bomb proof, i reckon they will be and i will be getting a set for sure! haha

Totally forgot about this thread...

Here is the solution (which is in every Magazine LOL)

http://www.baileysdiesel.com/on-highway/4wdaction

Basically, the noise is made from poorly controlled injection strokes caused from friction. Despite what the main fuel companies are saying, there really isn't sufficient lubrication in the diesel (or was it a design fault)....

So we've used a Specialized (and unique to BDG) DLC coating on the main spindle as well. Could bore the hell out of you for hours, but think super hardened Teflon. Self Lubricates, doesn't wear = pretty awesome stuff. Basically means you get the quiet running (and longevity) benefits without really needing to run the 2 stroke anymore...

Just clicked over 5000 kilometers on my new BDG DLC injectors and they are sweet , took it back to Peter at Central 4WD today and plugged the computer in , no worries in the world . I tried to call you today Matt (left a message) to thank you for your excellent product. No noisy injectors in my rig now....

Update, 7 yrs and 200k km later. Still running liquimoly diesel clean and boost in every tank since new ( BP Ultimate Diesel) truck still runs great, no hiccups whatsoever, changed the injectors out at 200k as preventative maintenance, although injector feedback values were still great. Original common rail fuel pump still going. Will continue using luquimoly diesel clean and boost
