Yes unfortunately this is all too common. They all want everyone to help, but then rarely say thanks or confirm the final diagnosis and remedy. Luckily we have some fantastic members that are happy to keep helping out
Well, we help people for several reasons.
Mine is, I am sick to death of my industry being the way that it is, and I want the consumer to know that we are not all like that. The people that do this work on forums, are usually the real deal. Members are not stupid on forums, and they know how to sort out the bad bits from the good bits.
Plus, I love helping out people when I can.
Look at Boxhead, he's a legend to me, and keep up the good work, me old mate.
So, really Rocket, we don't need the thanks, but it's nice when it comes.
As a tradesperson to another, I just want to thank you, for all the people you help out on here, BH.
There is another guy who has been helping people out for years. MickL, good on you Mick, and keep the truth coming.
There have been some fallen members, like John from Autocraft, and thanks mate, for all the members you helped out.
Anthony is another guy on another site, that helps out many people when he can. He is a mechanic in North Melbourne.
Buds Customs, mate, your work is just incredible, and awesome.
The list could go on.
Knowledge should be passed on, and it's a sin if you don't.
What are you going to do with all your knowledge anyway? Die with it, I don't think so.
