I just rang supercheap & asked about these ryco filters, which they have for '12 rolux, best $26 I ever spent as I have had the light come on after buying fuel in Port Pirie, I notice someone else had problems after buying up north from there :(

But, supercheap dont know about the rubber seals, is this part of the fuel filter kit ?

So I have the filter, gee its a lot smaller than I thought it would be :o

I have a crazy question now, can I just use vaso around the RR to seal it or should I be using something expensive from Toy. ?

when you do it back up, the screw on ring to seal the filter case, the O ring supplied should be squashed and then seal the whole unit, youll know its sealed because when you push the purge button on top of it no fuel will leak out the seals, which is a good thing ;)

I didnt use a sealant, didnt need to, but its your choice mate.

Thxs for the head up, when I pulled out old filter I could not see or feel any 'lubricant' !!!

I was thinking it must be Toy. magic 'dust' :?:

1. Turn ignition off.
2. Unplug sensor cable. (Usually on the side of the filter housing)
3. Start engine.
4. Reconnect sensor cable (do this within 20 seconds)
5. Light should be off.

If it comes back on check all fuel lines to make sure there are no blockages as this will cause the light to stay on solid as well... Had that happen to mine. Make sure you replace all filters on the fuel line.
