Injector part numbers

Postby D4Destruction on Sat, 01 Sep 2012 1:14 +0000

Hi I own a 2007 hilux, 3ltr turbo diesel death rattler and I was after some info and part numbers for the fuel injectors. Would a 23670-0L020 (toyota number I think) suit this engine and is it a good injector or is there better on the market? If anyone has any info or other part numbers for injectors to suit my hilux it would be much appreciated. Cheers

As far as I can tell there is no aftermarket for our injectors. There is denso then denso from Toyota at 2x the price. Also the only way I found to know for sure if you have the right injector is to pull an old one and check the number on it. Now I'm sure some one will say to search and this has been done before which is true, but I have had to look through the forum a lot to find this out. We need like an "injector bible" or the like.

Cheers mate for the reply. Im currently working away so dont have access to my hilux to check the numbers or I would of and I cant remember the numbers from when I changed them 50,000k ago. I can get 4 recon injectors for $500 with the above number and cant afford nearly $1500 for new ones and I have to make the decision by tomorrow thats why I wanted to make sure they will fit or knowing my luck they will probably be for a toyota camry or something. I havnt spent much time researching on the net but it seems there is a few part numbers out there to suit this engine but not 100% sure yet. I was hoping after having to change my injectors the other year they would of designed a better injector by now so thought there may of been a number for a new style injector. A list with the year of hilux, engine model and injector numbers would be handy but I guess been a D4D owner I should know the number off the top of my head anyway.

Cheers mate, yeh you would only get 1 from toyota for that price, $1071 to be precise as i found out today. Toyota told me the part number for my 2007 hilux is 23670-39316. i found some info on the net and apparently other toyota equivalent or cross reference part numbers are 23670-30140, 23670-39185, 23670-39186, 23670-39315 and Denso 095000-7780. Does anyone know much about the different part numbers? are some better than others or newer? thanks

Pig. The injector compensation code has to be input to the ecu by a capable scan tool. There is no other way

I know 23670-30140 and 23670-39185 are the same injectors, the 185's are the toyota part # for the kit which includes seals and 140's are the bare injectors, same with 150's and 145's

this might help some in the same boat as me looking for injectors without having to sell a kidney

injectors genuine or not ?

Postby Mobeen001 on Mon, 14 Sep 2015 3:00 +0000

Good day all ! I just ordered all four injectors for my 08 Hilux . They arrived this morning but I just want to be sure that they are genuine denso parts and not some Chinese replica or counterfeit ! Could anyone tell the difference
