DP-chip is one of the worst chips you can get as far as throwing codes and limp home mode. Team up the steinbauer module with a sprint booster and its sure to put a smile on anyones face

Sounds like some more crap, mines is just better right thru the rev range. When you first start the engine the chip doesn't work for the first 60 seconds, after 60 seconds you can certainly tell the difference. Better throtle response, better low down power and torque, better mid range and better up top. If feels eager to please and definitely has a crankier exhaust note.
Cheers Rod

Well ive currently got the VMN chip installed and have had it for well over a year now with zero issues at all.

I just wanted a chip that I could dyno tune as well as play around with the boost settings with the VMN cant do unfortunately.

Will be a good comparison of chips once i pull the old one out and put this one in.

Just need to know which wire to join into on the pedal. Theres is a thread on here that says the white/blue one but I was hoping to double check that with someone whos installed one recently

Very first impressions were it doesnt have as much get up and go lower down than the vmn chip did. I took it for a quick spin then came back and turned it straight up to max power and its a bit better but i still dont think its as responsive.

Much smoother though! I was over fuelling big time down low and its pissing down in Sydney so to hard to tell if the smoke has reduced but ide say it has.

Full throttle im hitting 20psi and holding it nicely. Boost is alot smoother and comes on alot stronger than with the vmn chip.

Thats from two very quick drives this arvo. Will have much better data in the coming days

Did you guys get yours dyno tuned???

As soon as west end diesel gets their dyno up and running again im going to get the tuned tweaked and probably up the boost to 22psi ide say. Probably tell them to add a little more fuel down low as well.

Awesome unit!!
