DigiBooster = Boost Controller for 1kd-ftv VNT turbo.

Hello Amigos.
I found a boost controller for the VNT 1kd-ftv turbo. 80 Euros. Plugs into the map sensor.

Hooked it up yesterday, Running it on the 18psi setting with my VMN injector width chip set to maximum injection. Have not tried the other boost settings yet. Running a mechanical boost gauge and have verified the psi increase, was holding 15psi prior to the digibooster.

My central american hilux seems to be a bit different from the Australian versions, built August 2008, 3 pin fuel rail connector, no egr cooler.

Seems to be a good addition for the steinbauer/vmn chiped trucks. More Fuel + More Air = More Fun.

No check engine lights, No limp mode.

Very interesting! Your Hilux sounds the same as our earlier (2005-mid 2006) Hilux.

Without additional fueling the gains wouldn't be as substantial but for the price it's something worth considering

I have also purchased one, they go ok but cant get over 18psi except for a second when it spiked to 19 and this is on the maximum setting, I also have the Steinbauer. Maybe a few more test runs are needed but I have talked to the supplier and he said he could reprogram it to get more boost if I wanted to.
