Yeah, that is actually correct.
We've been going down this path for ages trying to get the coating to stick (among other R+D issues) and nearly fell off the chair when in April of this year we found out (by stripping a set). Talk about validation of the right direction.
It is a fact, and Denso's latest generation part numbers have coated spindles. Like the Euro3 hiluxes and not getting the DLC 'fix' the Euro4 guys did, i assume they're not planning this solution for any of the 23670-39316. Time will tell (we know for a fact the last lot out of factory in Taiwan still dont have coated spindles).
