Be nice if someone developed and easy way to get those rings fitted or removed without having to remove the spring off the strut.
I might be wrong.

Yeah I have them... but the brand l purchased suck. The adjustability is fantastic but after less 30,000km the shocks are failing. The rears failed with less than 5,000kms on them.

The Ultimates I had before were on my lux for 160,000kms before I swapped them out. They had the rings described above but obviously a bugger to adjust.
I might be wrong.

Btw, would you also know the part number for the spring/coil seat? Might have to order up two of them as mine look pretty bad from driving on salted roads for 3 seasons... :(

I'll find out if you can even buy then separately. Mite be easier to sand them back and give them a good coat or fish oil and rust proof paint.

I may be wrong but pretty sure OME frown AKA Warranty is void on anything more then 1 spacer ring.
If your not concerned about warranty/insurance then go for it.

I see your point mate, i might be replacing the front struts in 1-2 years time if it holds up. The rust is a huge problem here in Norway with the amount of salt the use in the winter time, it terrifying how much they use through one season!

Haven't heard that warranty one b4 but maybe. It was the owner of the arb corporate store that supplies us with all our arb gear who told me to put two in there. We do it all the time for guys who have extra weight or just want the noise up level.

Luke, got another question for ya mate.
I have a offer on a set of unused 884 springs, i'm currently running 883, how much of a difference would it make if i swap them out without putting in the spring shims/packers?
Are the 884 longer then 883?

The length will be marginal but they are a slightly heavier spring rate. I t think have 885s with two packers. Been that way for years now.

i see i see, but you also have a front bar w/winch.
Since i have non of them i might be raised a bit more. and new springs would be better in the long run rather then the shims i think, or what do you think?

All ya can do is put the new springs in and see how they settle. If it's still not quite rite the throw a spacer in it.
