my neighbour *the suspension center) has been recently lifting new hilux's 4" without the cv boots touching....barely missing he said but they arent touching.....he reckons the cv boots themselves might have changed with the facelifted models...just thought id mention it for ya if your interested pm me for details.

We do a complete 4" suspension kit which has been engineered to comply with the Australian Design Rules. It comes as a total package including diff relocation brackets, drop cross members, trailing arms, brake line spacers, tail shaft spacers, hub support brackets, custom springs and custom length shocks to accommodate more wheel travel. Every part of this kit has been precisely engineered to achieve the highest legal lift in Australia without affecting any driveline components. Just remember though that any suspension lift over 2" requires an engineer's certificate in Australia which will cost you about $600-1200 ontop of the kit (depending on your location and the enigneers available). If you want more information, please visit our website and remember you also get a newhilux member discount ;)

Sorry about the delay Daz, I have been working on it with Ken and just wanted to get all the details first. We had the original coil overs which were a similar design to the ones we use for armored vehicles. They look and work great but the only problem was they are a bit too firm for the standard vehicles. We are in the middle of redesigning the coil overs with a different coil rate and probably an inverted foam cell shock. Hopefully I will have something for you in the next couple of months which will run great with your existing kit

Hi Daz, we can start by installing the upgrades soon and fit the coil over’s later if you like. Is it possible for you to call back into our workshop so we can go over the vehicle again and organise everything for you?

I just sent you an email to your private address on the smart lift. The Raised height monotube kit is a 2.5" lift kit. If you are intending on raising the vehicle 3.5-4”, I would sincerely recommend you go with the complete kit to relocate the front diff and strengthen the steering knuckles. This will ensure you get the desired lift without compromising any of the front end components.
