A little Help!

A little Help!

Postby essex4x4 on Thu, 19 Apr 2007 6:16 +0000

Hello to you all!

My name is Matt and i am from the UK. Unlike you lucky people down under we cant get half as much as you can for your trucks and also as most of the stuff available is imported from Oz or Thailand our prices seem more expensive that yours!

BUT anyway i am going to lift my truck and i have the choice of either 2" or 4" suspension lift, i was wondering whether anyone would be able to post a photo of either of these lifts so i can make my mind up! No one in the UK has done anything to a new Hilux yet!

Many Thanks,
Matt

A little Help!

Postby Danlux on Thu, 19 Apr 2007 6:28 +0000

Hi there

I currently living in London, if you look up my profile you will see that I had a lifted Hilux, this is a 3.5" lift.

When I told the guys in Australia (that did the work to my Hilux) I was selling the hilux and moving to London he said he is exporting his lift kits to a guy in the UK, if you like I will send him an email and ask for some details.

Cheers

Dan

Dont say sorry, every pom I meet ask the same question, they all think I'm stupid.

One of the reasons was work, but the main reason was a change of scenery and pace, a chance to travel and to earn some of your very good English pounds, there worth a fortune back in Aus 8-)

The Hilux, no I didn't do any of the work my self, but I did spend a lot of time at the work shop when it was being done, watching and learning.

Well I got a response from the guys in Aus about the suspension, this is disappointing.
Hi Dan,
Great to hear from you and I hope all is going well for you both over there.

With regards to the Hi Lux kit and our business contact over there.

Our original contact failed to come up with the orders. I personally think,He was talking big so he could purchase at the best export price for his own use.

If the contact you have made wishes to buy direct we will look after him.

My main concern is to find some one who is technical and a good reliable fitter to represent us.

I would appreciate if you could check the local seen out for me.
