Parabolic vs RG leaf

Parabolic vs RG leaf

Postby Yowie on Mon, 25 Jan 2021 6:07 +0000

Hello everyone,

Time has come to have a look at replacing my leaf springs and there have been a few advancements since I last did them. I'm currently running ironman 200-400kg leaf springs and my load is a steel tray, steel dog crate and aluminium canopy. I am going to get weigh bridge figures so I can get the best setup when I go to purchase. Also tow my camper which is 150-200kg ball weight

Question is, do I go the parabolic setup 300-500kg or do the RG co version and run fixed constant weight spring? Was think approx 350kg constant RG leaf.

Any suggestions/feedback on what you have is appreciated

It all depends on the predominant terrain you're travelling and your own personal comfort level preferences.

I've been wanting the para's for a while now for the flex but like a lot of things never got to them.

AmeriKUN26 bought the parabolics for his lux in the US:
