For the most part it’s part of life for a leaf pack set up.
A little dirt and water creates some rust and you get a squeak.
But give it a week or so of dry driving it will polish back up and the squeak is gone.
A lot of leaf packs can actually be maintained. As in the plastic pads can actually be greased. To help prevent all this noise. Not a lot of people know that.
Or you can just turn the radio up. Mine squeak on a regular basis from the rain/rust. Honestly doesn’t worry me anymore. I know my ute now and what is worth looking at and what will rub back to polish in only a few days.
Too many people freak out at the first noise. Coming from ag industry everything bloody well squeaks so guess I have learnt to ignore it.
