suspension creaking and squeaking

Hi Guys,

After returning from a weekend on Frazer Island I went through the underbody wash because I was lazy. Since then my 2013 SR5 hilux suspension has been creaking like crazy, its so bad i can hear it while driving.
I've sprayed the leaf suspension and all around it with lithium grease and it helped a bit but I dont think I'm getting to the correct places.
Anyone got any tips before I bring it to a garage. I won't use the underbody wash again that's for sure.
Sorry if this has been covered before but I couldn't find any info.

The car wash has more than likely pushed sand deep in between the leafs. Jack the back up to unload the packs and give them another good clean, then use a pry bar to separate each one at a time and grease the contact pads at the end of each leaf. See how that goes. I see it all the time at work, mostly from guys who are a little too hefty with the old pressure washer!

Sounds like you don't go in the sand too much. haha. it's a common thing mate. Mine does the same after grit gets in-between the leaf springs. I have a 2013 SR5 too. I simply spray some lanolin over the springs and take it for a 5min drive and let it soak in as the leafs get some flexing/movement. The creaking noise goes away until next big off-road adventure.

I jacked her up and sprayed her with lithium grease, seems to have worked 90% anyhow, still a light squeak but nothing near as bad. When it stops raining I'll know for sure.
