Sway bar problem

Sway bar problem

Postby sharp018 on Tue, 15 Aug 2017 4:34 +0000

My sway bar is sitting on top of one side of them cross member type brackets that go from the diff to the front

Im tipping this is some sort of stablizier bracket for the diff?

Anyway as mention one side of my sway bar is rubbing and it makes a very anooying noise as it's metal on metal you could only imagine

On further inspection it appears I have a few dints in them brackets and reckon I may have slightly bent on hitting a rock or ruts

Just curious are these brackets nessacary in our cars what happens if we removed them all together or is there a remedy to fix this issue

I have factory sway bar
Brand new sway bar bushes
And adjustable super pro links which are set to stock length but regardless if I made shorter or longer it won't stop the sway bar rubbing

If anyone has had this issue or know a good thing or 2 how to fix that would be great!!
