Suspension Lift v Body Lift kit.

Suspension Lift v Body Lift kit.

Postby Clarkie on Tue, 01 Nov 2016 10:11 +0000

Hey Guys,

I have a 2013 SR5 dual cab hilux. Im looking to make it look "tougher" for the cheapest price. I know that body lift kits are far cheaper than suspension lifts, but I was wondering what the difference in cosmetic appearance is?

Thanks Guys. :D

Short answer, none! I did my body lift first because I wanted to get as much as my bar work done b4 I put suspension in cos of the weight difference. When you do a body lift after ya bar work is fitted it'll all have to come back off and get moved up to suit the new body hight.

Anything chassis mounted will sit low by the height of your body lift. Ie: bullbar, sliders, rear bar, gear stick, intercooler, etc. These can all be modded to suit, but that costs money also
