Upper ball joints stuffed after 1.5yrs only?

Hi guys
I fitted some adjustable upper control arms in my Hilux about 1.5 years ago because of bad tire wear which they fixed but the ball joints only lasted 1.5 hrs.
Seeing the original Toyota ball joints where still good after 7yrs I think these adjustable arms must have low quality ball joints. They have a rubber boot but no grease nipple.

Just wondering if anybody knows of some heavy duty ball joints for these adjustable control arms ?
The arms are the same as sold by caloffroad, snake & many others I think they are the SPC brand.

about $200 to replace
