What should i do

Postby Chris Thomas on Wed, 06 Feb 2008 7:40 +0000

Tomorrow my ute is back in to ARB to have another go at the rear end. I have Medium springs and it's nearly holding the weight but feels a little soft when driving. Should i get ARB to add a leaf or just replace the pack with the 400 KG pack. ARB tell me that adding a leaf to the medium pack still doesn't make it a 400 KG pack. The 400 is stronger again. Not sure about that one

Thanks

With everything out the back sits at 800mm BOR to under guard add Engle, 25l water, single sliding draw, 25 KG tool box ARB Compressor = 300 KG the height drops to 780. I'm not to concerned with the height you can just feel going around a corner the back really wanting to roll compared to the front it's just not strong enough. When i load it up with camping gear, fill the fridge and esky hook up boat 80 KG on the ball ride height is 760mm and really soft almost bouncing. No problems at all with Arb we just thought mediums would have worked

Try airbags. I carry a Trayon and the ARB, OME and airbags are great for my setup.
Cheers

That's funny, ARB on the Gold Coast told me the only difference between the medium and heavy duty are the extra set of leaves. I think someone there is tryong to rip you off!! Be wary.
