Ball joint vs Uniball UCA's

Yeah mate - happy with these offset bushes. Running 285/75/16's with MR diff drop, the usual foldback of pinch weld and inner splash guard. Didnt touch the body mount. Very good clearance. Haven't yet tried without sway bar attached.
I can post up some pics if anyone interested.
Brendan recommended them saying they dont suffer the same durability issues that some A/M UCA's have.

UCA's hitting coils?
The offset UCA bushes I had with my previous suspension kit allowed the UCA to clear the coil at full extension.
I have since installed a new suspension kit
My new front coils overs have a longer extension so UCA's would hit - however I can adjust the coil orientation so that the UCA slot between the coil spaces

Check out the last page of my build thread for a couple of pics of UCA at full extension

Keep in mind that a workshop will charge at least $150+ to press the bushes in if you take the UCA's to them.
This is not a reversible process. Once the OEM bushes are pressed out they are stuffed.

Google SPK3230K for suppliers. I see one site have them on special for $215 today. One FleBay seller for $300
I purchased mine thru a suspension specialist with a previous suspension kit
You will need an alignment immediately after install

The advantage of aftermarket UCA's is that you can always take them out if you need to revert back to the standard UCA setup
