I just bought a 2012 Hilux and the front suspension is squeaking bad I think its where the shockie nut is can you tighten this without stuffing any alignment up.

I'd be very surprised if that nut is loose, how many ks? May have flogged out the top hat rubbers which let's the strut shaft contact the top hat.

Sway bar bushes can be very squeaky, easy enough to take out clean up and lubricate with the incorrect grease like I do every now and then. Don't ask me what proper maintenance for these bushes is but greasing them up makes it feel like a new car again.

Yes. If they are loose the rod rubs the inside of the top hat. Nip it up while its on the gound.
Or replace the top bush, while its on the the ground.

yeah i'm getting a weird noise coming from mine, Its like sounds like metal on metal rubbing, but ive checked the suspension but doesn't seem like anything has rubbed?

Ill remove my sway bar and grease the bushes mention above, ill also see if the shocker nut is loose

i'm running 4 inch profender suspension with remote resavour shocks

okay just an update, i went outside and did the following first i removed the d bushes from sway bar and greased the bushes, however with the sway bar disconnected it was still making the noise so i knew it wasnt that. But still greased them anyways.

i then checked out the nut on the shocker and ill be damned thats what it was. both sides loose as buggery. So ive tighten them super tight retested the boucning on the side steps no noise :) im a very happy man now, and thanks to those on here who pointed that out, it would of been the last thing i would of checked/replaced lol
