Did you go the CREB track & the OTC. Have a mate from Cairns He reckons you don't have to take much food you will catch plenty of fish

If I was looking for a suspension kit for comfort, is EFS still worth looking at? From what I can gather Ultimate suspension seem to have the better setup for comfort. Can anyone advise on how an EFS kit with light springs etc would compare to UltImate when comfort is priority?

Digging up a thread but I am in the same boat as Warnsie above. Looking at modding a 2014 SR dual cab with Steel winch bar and 123ltr long range tank (already has canopy) and wanting to get a moderate lift as well as counteract the extra weight. The only issue is that the lux will be 80% urban and a school holiday trip vehicle. To add complexity, we live in the Adelaide Hills and will be going up and and down greenhill road (curvy) and need comfort as a priority.

I want my cake and eat it too - can EFS or any other kit do the job?

I had EFS comfort springs fitted on my single cab from new.
I have TJM outback bar and few other extras.
Comfort spring rode great when I was empty but after a few fishing trips to the gulf they started to sag.
Only about 20mm in 3years but when full loaded they were a bit light on.
I upgraded to the EFS HD spring 3 years on on sag but the opposite a bit to ridged when empty but great when loaded. it's a bit of a catch 22.

Correct me if I m wrong I think EFS comfort front spring are only 60kg so a steel bull bar on the front will be boarder line just to start. That was the case with my ute.

I want some advice, looking at EFS for a 2 inch lift. Have bullbar on front, steel frame canopy on the back with tin roof and canvas side covers. Looking at doing a big trip once or twice a year with the back loaded up and towing a tinny. What are peoples thoughts? Around town use never carrying weight but when we go camping i do load the back. Thoughts welcome...

I'd go 300 constant in the back mate. That's what I got and it's a bit rough without load but it sits good under load. I got comforts in the front with a factory bar but they're sagged so I'd go 90-120 constant

I just got my Lux a EFS 2 inch lift. HD springs up front with XTR struts and 300kg constant leafs on the back with XTR shocks. What a MASSIVE improvement. The old front springs were buggered.

I drove 1 hour and 40 minutes to Phil Cochrane's On Track 4x4 in Ferntree Gully. Best price and the best service anywhere. I highly recommend if you live in Victoria to give him a call.

8 weeks to go to our Cape York trip and the new Suspension setup was just what the Dr ordered.
