Is it the SR with VSC AND ABS? if not then yes otherwise no... VSC is the bigger brakes and require 17 inch

I seen a xtra cab yesterday 2012 with flears and he had 15s on his, they must not have VSC, those alloy wheels look real small.

The extra cabs only have 15 inch on them. I nearly bought a set for my dual cab until I realised they were 15inch.

I'm chasing a set of 17 inch ones though.

Can anyone tell me if I can fit 2002 sr5 standard alloys onto a 2010 sr model. From what I can tell they may not be compTable?

Why does my 05 sr have 16inch rims and the sr5 have 15 alloy ? Can I put the sr5 rims on without any drama ?

I just did this swap this afternoon. Got a set of used SR5 15" alloys my local tyre dealer had sitting around and put on a set of BF Goodrich 31x10.5/15 TAs (around 50-60% tread) that I had taken off my old Patrol a year ago. Much better ride than the brand new 205R16s that are now sitting in the shed. Much better looking also and tyres sit just inside the guards - good enough for Mr Plod to leave me alone.

First time poster. I also have set of sr5 rims without any nuts that I want to put on my sr hilux, Toyota wants $300 ish for a full set of nuts. Did any one find any aftermarket wheel nuts that did the same job?

If you could get a picture and specs of one...im sure a nut and bolt place should be able to sort it out........my understanding is that the chamfer pressing against the wheel will be the issue.

Supercheap repco etc they all sell aftermarket wheel nuts... Like most things, much cheaper than from Toyota

I put SR5 mags wheels on my SR and Bob jane wouldn't fit em with mud tyres because of load rate issues haha wasn't impressed

Thought I'd ask in here rather than start a new thread.

I have a 06 SR and was looking at some 2014 SR5 rims, is there any issues fitting these ? is the offset the same throughout the year models ?

thats wrong.you can al by 15" breaks if you want it.

Might try and explain a little bit here. I have a 2011 hilux 3.0 sr with 17 "brakes originally. My car is built on / switched to 15" brakes. advantage with 15 "rims on offraod drive. The problem comes when you want to buy aluminum rims or steel rims that are not standard Toyota. a car with 17" brakes has a calipers that builds less beyond, from the contact surface to the rim, where the rim attached. When you have 15 "brakes, builds calipers further out and you need a wheel with a more abrupt angle from plant Wheel and go clear calipers. There is not much difference here, so a small spacer fixes much here for those who have not very broad rim. I like driving a 12.5 inch wide rims can not use spacer. so I use spiesial made rim from Arctic Trucks

Bought and fitted some 2014 SR5 rims on my 2006 SR, straight bolt on no issues.
