I'm getting a new SR in a few weeks and working out what rims to get. Any recommendations? Just want some basic steel but need to know if 15" will fit or not. Anyone tried?

15" rims wont fit over the later models break callipers, think it's 2010 below that they'll fit.

What size tyres do people recommend? I'll be driving this hilux about 800kms a week for work so want something that's going to be decent on the road in terms of handling and noise. Is 16x7 or 16x8 better and should I get 285s?

are you guys sure that non of these steel wheels will fit on a 2013 model, I've tried a 15x8 mickey Thompson off my land cruiser on my Hilux, and it fits over the calliper but hits the back of the face of the rim. seems if I had a rim with a different centre you could get them to fit.

my mates 2013 sr5 extra cab came with 15" alloys standard.

A heads up you can still get these 15x8 0 offset wheels that fit directly from Infinity Wheels in Queensland, delivered for $79 each..
