Do you think it would be safe to grind that pointy bit off (the bit touching just above my finger nail)??

Hmm duno probably a bit risky id sa as it might loose a bit of strength on the arm maybe?

Safest bet is to get some new rims with more offset to move the rim centre outwards....

haha yeah i wouldnt start hacking into the car all the same, i mean it might be ok but also could weaken it know one could say with 100% certainty!

Maybe just get a cheap set of sunnies instead of the alloys, think some of the fellas on here sun a +10p offset 15'' sunnraiser rim...

They've only got about 13k on them, bit of noise as usual for a muddie. I'd like to see them 20 or 30k on them to get a idea on how they're wearing. Off road they've been great so far

I've noticed the front tyres are wearing on the inside more than the outside. Is it possible the sagged stock suspension is to blame?

that would indicate that you need a wheel alignment as there might be too much camber on the wheels

I understand it needs a wheel alignment, but is the sagged suspension to blame for the alignment? If I took the steel bulbar off and the suspension came back up, would the problem be solved/improved?
Getting a bit off topic here :)

Nah wouldnt solve it - wheel alignment it unrelated to the height of the car, well sort of anyway.

Would you really wana take all that gear off just to solve the alignment issue anyway! just get it done by a proper 4wd suspension place and not a bob jane or kmart store and all should be sweet.

I've done about 35K on mine so far and are about 50% worn. I would expect 60k - 65k out of them. Usable life as a MT i would say about 50K.

Overall not bad for a MT tyre

Gday guys.
So the 32s are finally at the point of needing to replaced.
Could anyone tell me if the 33/10.5 will fit on a 15/8 0 offset rim without any dramas.
I'm trying to work out if I bite the bullet and get new 16 inch rims.

As long as you have enough lift they'll fit.
