@smithyworld.you have 265/75/16 on your jeep..is it possible to take 285?

I was talking to some guys yesterday about some bloke that put 285s on and he had to cut the crap out of his inner guards and flares etc After putting 265 on mine and I can safetly say that i don't think you should go any bigger. If you do expect plenty of problems.

if you look at my truck it is fitted with 16x8 with -12mm offset, and 285x75x16 mtz. i have done some mods for the tyres to clear. since then all good. i have a 3inch lift in the front and 2 inch in the rear.

Surley you get rubbing offroad? 3 inchs in the front would help. We have the same rims. They look great hey! Unfortunately here in QLD legally 2 inches is the highest you can go with suspension.
