Bent spindle..... :? :? :? Maybe too much rock and roll and right boot on Camp Rd OTW......

I'd say your installer did pretty well to come up with those numbers given the handicap  Certainly explains why the top plate were set differently from each other. Unless the right foot was the real problem

Should come up really well when the spindle/upright is replaced. :)

Hey I have been ready through and couldn't find the exact specs so I thought I'd just ask. I've just bought Sidebiter II's and I'm tossing up with 305/65/17 or 285/70/17. They are 17x9 0 offset. I'm running Bilstein 5100 series currently from the US with one more notch to go up and I wanted to know which will be easier to fit? It's on an auto 2012 SR5 with ARB deluxe bar. Cheers in advance

It appears the 305 on these specs will clear the UCA but I just wasn't sure if it would foul anywhere else.

You'll get plenty of rubbing on ya body mounts and flares etc with either size only more so with the 305s obviously. Time to get the grinder, Hamer and welder out!

Yeah that's all good. I was hoping to get away with the 305 as it's about 10mm lower in rolling diameter and I do a fair few kms and wanted to minimise the power loss.

Also with the speedo error of 3.37%, would this also be the percentage of power lost through the larger tyres?

Do you do much touring? Is there any regrets in going the 33"? We do a lot of km's with the camper and heaps of beach use so I just want to make sure I'm making the right decision.

Trial fitted my buddy's 285/70/17 on FJ wheels and they went on easy so I'm sold.

What everyone's thoughts on -10 mags with 285/75/16s, do the scrub much more and do they hang outside the flairs too much?

I think I will be going with the bfg ko2s, looks like I should make the effort to find some zero offset wheels.

Probably be the go. I'd have at least 20mm hanging out with zero offset.
