Tyre Pressure Issue

Hey all,

Really confused with one of my tyres but I went 4wding in Toolangi and got a bit of mud in the bead which resulted in a slow leak.

No dramas took it down to the local tyre power who apparently fixed it with a balance and alignment (don't know what they actually did).

Then serviced at my normal mechanic and says no dramas.

Problem is, I have a very slow leak, over 3-4 days from 38PSI to around 22-25PSI and doesn't get any flatter than that.

Anyone know why this? I'm due for knew tyres very soon so that'll hopefully fix the problem haha

Easier to take tyre off car, but you can do this on car, just not as reliable.

Inflate to 40 psi
Remove from car
Spray a soapy wash over entire tyre , beads, sidewalls, tread, valve stem and core (with valve cap removed) and rim itself.

Looks for bubbles.

One easy check take the valve cap off and put some spit on the valve and check for bubbles. Valves are notoriously leaky especially after some mud gets in when you put more air in.
