Hi all,
It dawned on me the other day whilst browsing these forums that since upgrading the suspension / tires etc.. I never bothered to change my spare tyre aswell!
In short will buying a second hand tyre-the same size (265/75r16) but different brand/tread work as a spare ? Or is it absolute that my spare tyre is the same brand ?

As long as it has the same rolling diameter it'll be fine man.

If it's only for emergencies, same size is fine, but if you think you might have to drive on it a while get the same brand, as different brands can vary quite a lot in actual measurements despite having the same size on the sidewall
