How hard is to fit a 265/70r17

Hey guys I was going to get some steel wheels 17x8 on Mickey Thompson Baja atz p3 to replace my 18" alloy wheel but when I tried they rubbed on the rear guard was wondering what I can do so I can put them on thanks in advance
