Hi guys

what would be the recommended tyre pressure for the bridgestone dueler ht for a fire trail that has ruts in it?

thanks

What speed are you doing, low range driving ? What load on the vehicle ? All comes into play.

If you are talking about rutted tracks at slow speed I would suggest starting at 28psi and working down from there to suit conditions to around 20psi if required.

at byfield national park i had to drop mine to 12 (ish) as i was stuck behind an incredible slow hyundai SUV trying to get up the hill which resulted in me doing hill starts in the sand constantly. everywhere else the such as morton, stradbroke etc i haven't even dropped the pressure. They have done about 60k so getting a little smoother now so don't dig in at all. Currently doing research for some AT's or Muddies to complement the lux and give it more capability

There's no one-size-fits-all pressure, different tyre construction, different tyre size, different tread, different vehicle weights, suspension, terrain, it all has an impact on what pressure works best.

All you can really do is experiment, probably best to stay above 15psi unless you're desperate for traction, and keep in mind HT's don't handle sharp rocks very well, so take your time.
