Hi all,

Anyone know if 90 series 16x7 Prado alloys (5spoke) will fit a 2012 SR? I've searched on the forums and only have results for the steel rims.

If you ute is the newer of that year( big bonnet scoop) then they'll bolt up but will be very close if not rubbing on the calipers. If its and old shape then you should be fine. What size wheels does it have now?

120 series Grande rims fit straight on and use 17" tyres so you can use common sizes like 265/65/17.

Thanks for the replies. It's currently fitted with the stock 16" steel rims.

Speedy sell the 120 Grande rims in silver and black. Thy fit over TRD size brakes (which are just 120 series brakes) which are bigger than the upgraded brakes on the VSC cars from that start of 2012 model later in 2011.

We tried to fit a set to a mates 14sr amd although they went straight on and probably would have been fine we just weren't comfortable with the clearance around the calipers. There was maybe 2mm, not much room for anything.

My SR doesn't have VSC so I'm hopeful they'll fit. I guess there's only one way to find out!

In the interests of future searches on this topic I can confirm that the 90 series Prado alloys do
fit comfortably on the front of a 2012 SR without VSC. There is more caliper clearance than the standard hilux steel rims. :D Image
