Does a 2012 Hilux have bigger brakes then a 2007 Hilux?

Hi Guys,

I own a 07 hilux with 33" muddies on a 15" rim and wanted to sell them to a mate who owns a 2012 hilux he has said that the 2012 hilux's have bigger brakes and therefore wont fit anything smaller then a 16" rim. Can anyone confirm whether this is true or not. i have had a quick search through some of the forum and cant find what i needed. possibly searched in the wrong area. thanks for any input

Yeah from October 2010 onwards had bigger brakes and VSC.

If it has VSC the brakes are bigger, not even all of the 16 inch rims will fit.
Without VSC there might be a chance that the small rims will fit.
