Hi All

Has anyone got these running on an 08 Hilux with no lift?
I have gotten mixed replues from tyre places about clearance issues with them on my lux. I am running on the standard 16" Toyota 6" steelies. Just want to stand a little taller before looking at a lift kit down the line

Cheers,

Shannon

I have these exact tyres.
Beat my big all terrains hands down.265/70r16

But going to the 235s while going an extrainch in height. Became slightly narrower creating less friction on the road reducing fuel economy.

I was lifted prior fitting these so can't comment on rubbing at standard height

If anyone's interested I Just fitted these on my 12 Sr with the stock 16x6 wheels, they look great, fit inside the guard without flares and clear easily everywhere even at full lock. I have the standard suspention, bullbar and dual batteries up front. Cheers

I am so happy with the choice. I attached some pics. I also paint black the whole rim and looks much better.

Question: how does this setup perform offroad? With the standard suspension.
Any rubbing of vehicles body, upper control arm, wheel arch, etc?
If so, would a 50mm suspension raise help?
