06 SR5 pro comp wheels

Hi Guys

Just got an 06 SR5 this is my first hilux so I know sweet fa about them. Wanting to get some pro-comp alloy wheels (series 7069), I am wanting to run 15" tyre so I dont have to change my spare. (if I have to change it, I will)

I will most likey run 265's Dueler d697's.

would a 15x8, 0 offset wheel fit without modification and would the tyre sit not passed the flares?

I heard someone on here say that these rims would not fit on an 06 SR due to the caliper position, in another thread.

Cheers

Pretty sure the factory rims r 15s? Could be wrong. They should fit, was only on the newer ones that have bigger brakes. Even if ya stick with 15s you'll need to change the spare to the same outer diameter. Most places I went to talked me into getting 16s as there r alot more option for 10 ply tyres. If ta don't have any lift ya may need to remove mud flaps and do some trimming with 0 offset. I had to even with a body lift installed and 0 offset with 265s will hang outside the flares.

yeah stock are 15's, I have no lift atm will be looking at 2" lift later on with a bullbar. I really do not want to be modifying anything as I plan on lifting her. Did you have to get extended flares to make it legal?

Sounds like im gonna just have to get the whole lot done in one go (bullbar, lift and wheels)
