i don't think they will fit at all positive puts you closer to the brake and uca and with a 285 can't see them fitting unless you getting something fairly negative

 Shit, they'll be handy when you put the wheel chains on. You have a truck, not a pimp-mobile. It's 15" or 16" A/T's or M/T's.
Why buy a truck to drive around to try to copy the "Hey bro look at my way sik, it's not truck, I just drive around the block".

Thank you for your input!!!

Im sure it will go all the places your fully hectic TRUCK will go!!

As for copying i think putting 15" 16" ATs or Mts is following the trend !!! as i have done something different and you want me to follow the crowd and put small rims and big rubber on!!!

Looks good Beatie, nice clean lines. That's the beauty of the Hilux it can be what ever you want it to be. Weekend warrior, work horse, family wagon, tourer and anything in between. You build a car to suit your needs. It's a shame some people don't appreciate or accept this.

To many keyboard warriors on here that don't like people COPYING (not sure who i was copying?) the funny thing is if i spent $500 on some cheap sunnies with 31s it would be an awesome TRUCK!!!

They are 235/40/18 and feel every part of the road.
Mine are 265/70/17 and seem nice and forgiving

I'm actually about to do the transition from 285/70/17 to 295/55/20 on a 20x9 fuel rim with 0 offset.
I run now 17x8.5 Methods and will be going the new 20x9 fuel hostage wheels.

I was actually about to start a thread but saw this one, so will just follow up this one.

To whoever thinks a Hilux on 20's with 33's wont go places a Hilux with 15/16's will, think again. To even fit 33's you need a minimum of 3" lift, not all Hilux's have a 2" lift with 265/75/16.

My lux has a 3" Ultimate lift, twin Arb lockers and will be running 33's with a 20" rim. I've built mine to go anywhere I point it, and I'm sure it will do so no different to when it had the 285/70/17 tyres on.
