My Bro just took delivery of his new Wildtrak and I talked him into getting these on a new set of rims but the Jax dealer in Townsville knows nothing about delivery date for OZ. He's getting BFG AT's fitted tomorow.

Just had set of 285 75 16's fitted and they look great. No noticeable road noise than the stock tyres I had. You are looking at around $370 - $420 a corner depending on where you go.

Not personally but i know 2 people that have them and they said they are quiet, good grip on road and nice and aggressive sidewall for offroad.

Havent heard anything bad about tyre wear, still early days.

I'll be swapping to these end of year when my km2's wear down.

Gave up on them, too much of a dick around.Got Mickey T ATZ P3's instead in 265/70r17's, pretty happy with them. Did well at fraser island in the sand, didn't drop below 24 and had no drama's.bit of road noise but no worse than bfg all terrains so i'm pretty keen to try them on the rocks and mud next R and R.

Hi,

Just about to purchase a new set of tyres. Tossing up between the Micky P3's or the new KO2's? Anyone had them on their vehicle long enough to give a fair review?

Can get a set of 265/75/16 for 315 a corner. Bit cheaper than P3 for 375!

Cheers

Scott

I've had my p3's on for about 3thousand k's now and they are starting to get noisy now that they're getting a few k's on them, other than that they're ok.Wouldn't rave about them but theyre not bad.I generally prefer goodrich as a tyre but thought I'd give these a go. When I've got another 10k on them I'll have a better idea how well they go.Only tried sand and road at the moment, they go well in sand when dropped down to around 18-20. :) Just did Double Island Point, Inskip and Rainbow Beach on a camping/fishing trip. Started at 24 like I did at Fraser but the sand was a bit softer down that way so I dropped to 20 then 18. They go pretty good in softer stuff at around 18.

Lucky bugger out fishing and camping good on ya! Nice spot Rainbow Beach!

Yeah I think I'll try the new KO2's!

I'm about to do about 5k or so on the black top! Townsville, Canberra then off to Perth. Get the new tyres this Friday so I'll post up some info once I've clocked up a few k's.

Slightest bit of clay/mud and they are useless.. Image
Rocks and dirt is where they shine (twin locked) https://vimeo.com/138072306
Now use nitto trail grapplers which are the noisiest tyre I've ever had Image
Next will be general grabbers hands down Image

Got mine fitted last week here in South Africa, 265/75/16
Can't really comment on improvements etc. except I like the new look very much, the new pattern on the sidewall gives it almost Mud terrain look.

Can't notice any extra road noise compared to the old ones,

I must add that I got 115 000ks on the oldies,

cheers

Replaced The MTZ on Dynamic steel rim ( Still had about 1/2 tread ) with BF KO 2's on a pro comp 5001 rim today.

The difference is noticeable as expected.

Hardly any road noise
Corners smother
Rides better

I replaced the tyres and rims as I don't do as much mud driving anymore.

Pretty hard to compare apples with oranges in terms of mud and all terrain tyres as they serve two different purposes however I'm hoping I get some decent mileage out of them.

Slightest? This is a joke ey?
Most tyres are useless with that amount of slop. Claws be ok ;)
Like the whole face is covered, just slightly

Of course that's a joke!!! Obviously I don't mean that much, a mud tyre wouldn't have been any better in that situation!!

A mud tyre wouldn't have got me in that situation tho, I generally stay away from mud.

I tried to reverse out as soon as the front wheels touched that shit and even with both lockers I couldn't move.. Nobody could get behind me so had to winch through it, that's how it got like that!

On the brighter side, I did drive a line every other 4wd needed a winch up, even the guys with mud tyres..
This GU is front locked and the rear lsd has been shimmed, 35" big horns and yes I am winching it because he couldn't drive it. Hilux did it first go! Image

The shop I bought my km2's from in Brisbane is selling the KO2's in 265/75/16 for $286 each and they are in stock. Pretty good price if you ask me! 285/75/16 are still only $330 or so
