I seen today mickey thompson have released a new tyre and it's in Australia already. It's called the ATZ P3 allterrain 50/50 off and onroad. Most sizes are in a 10ply sidewall.Looks like they have merged s atz with an mtz. Has anyone seen them or lucky enough to have a set?

On phone so can't link. There on their website

Throws a spanner in the works now, I was looking at getting the Cooper ST Maxx, but these looks quite good too.

Pity they don't have a 35 on a 15" rim.

It's $410 for one tyre only. You get what you pay for I guess. Hope they are a good tyre

Had the tyres for 8000kms now. Holding up real well. Very little road noise and they Handel the wet roads great. Done a few one day trips around darwin an I don't have one thing bad to say about them apart from the price tag, but that's darwin for ya.

Well I've bitten the bullet...the 32 x 11.5 bighorns are on the way out...the new kid on the block is on order.
changing to a 265 75 R16 with a +30 16 x 7 rim. Will let you know how it goes.

I was thinking a set of 35x12.5r15 mickey p3 as my new tire but waiting a little longer to see what people think as I want a little more grip and bagging for rock crawling in the patrol.

Fitted yesterday and for road...I already love em' compared to the 32 x 11.5 muddies...no real road noise, acceleration has returned and the drive feels really tight..Off road test is next week. But pattern and fit is great for me.

We put a set of 33's on my brother in law's GU back in december.. after removing his MTZ's which were shagged..

He's had.. ATZ 4 bar / MTZ / Simex Centipedes and now these ATZp3's.. he loves them..

we did west coast tasmania over december /jan and he reckons they were as good if not better than the MTZs..
